One month until Chisinau Criterium 2019 cycling race!

Only one month left until the sixth city cycling race Chisinau Criterium 2019! If you want to join hundreds of other cycling enthusiasts and participate in the most widescale cycling race of the country, now is the time to register!

Chisinau Criterium 2019 will be held on 26 May 2019. The race will start at 10.00 in the Great National Assembly Square. The race tracks will lie along the main streets of Chisinau. The participants may choose one the following distances:

- 15 km by Naturalis (MTB ONLY) - CUTOFF - 40 min;

- 30 km by Technosoft (MTB + ROAD) - CUTOFF - 80 min;

- 60 km (ROAD ONLY) - CUTOFF - 140 min.

On the same day, May 25, the traditional 15 km entertainment bike race Velo Fun by Skoda will take place. The track will lie through two sectors of the capital: Center and Riscani. In this race, you can participate on any bike.

May 25, the children's race Kids Duathlon 2019 will be held in the Great National Assembly Square. The race start is scheduled for 11.00. The participants will have to cover one of the following distances:

- 5–6 years: running - 300 m, cycling - 750 m;

- 7–8 years: running - 300 m, cycling - 750 m;

- 9–10 years: running - 600 m, cycling - 1,200 m, running - 450 m;

- 11–13 years: running - 1,200 m, cycling - 2,400 m, running - 750 m.

The main goal of Chisinau Criterium 2019 is to promote healthy lifestyle and cycling in Moldova. The cycling race was held for the first time in September 2014, supported by the Moldovan Cycling Federation. Since 2015, the races have been included in the official sports calendar of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Moldova. The event is supported by the Chisinau Administration. The Chisinau Criterium organizers are the public sports organization Sporter and the largest free classifieds board in Moldova 999.md.
