Do you want to participate in Velo Fun by Škoda, but have no bike? No problem - there are several places in the city where you can pick an iron friend to participate in the race. Below you can find the addresses and contact data of the bicycle rental centers, which do not limit the usage zone of the bikes offered.
1. DAAC Velo Sport
You can find bikes for rent at 9/1 bd. Moscova. The center operates from 10:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekends. For rent, you need to present your identity card.

2. Velopoint Chisinau – Bike rental, Tours & More
Velopoint is located on 86 Sciusev str., and offers BTWIN MTB bikes and city bikes. Starting June 1, 2017, the Velopoint Kids option is available. So you can rent a kids bike for Kids Criterium by Naturalis 2018, which is due on May 12.
When renting a bicycle, a contract is concluded for a certain amount of time. After you sign the contract, you will receive a helmet, an anti-theft padlock, a flashlight, a reflective vest and, as the case may be, a child seat and a basket.

3. I Love Velo, Valea Trandafirilor
In Valea Trandafirilor park ou can rent a Masterteh bike every day, from 10:00 to 21:00.
For rent, you need to present your identity documents. The traffic area is unlimited.

4. Bikes for hire in Telecentru sector
In Telecentru sector you can find a bike for rent right next to the TV tower. At this rental center you can take advantage of better prices compared to other centers: they work non-stop, and at your request they deliver the bicycle where you ask.
Here you can find a wide range of bikes of various brands and sizes.

5. Alcanar, Botanica sector
Here you can find a wide range of bikes. For hire you’ll need to leave something in pawn.
Bikes are let for rent only for a long time, so you have to make a phone call in advance.

6 VeloJAN - bikes for the whole family
The VeloJAN store is located at 22/2 Ion Creangă Street, 22/2, and 1 Piaţa Gării str. Here you can rent bicycles under a contract that you will need to sign.
Two types of Asogo bikes are offered: standard and comfort (fat-bike). You can hire a bike from 9:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekends.

7. Veloprim, Buiucani
Here you can rent MTB and road bikes of various brands (Citybike, MTB, double suspension, Giant city bicycles, KHS, Toprado, UNIVEGA, Kettler and other). To rent a bike, you’ll need to leave your identity card in pawn.
Reservations shall be made in advance. Bikes can be rented Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 23:00 and 24/24 on weekends.

8. Funky Mamaliga Hostel
Bike hire is an alternative service provided by Funky Mamaliga Hostel to all lovers of an active lifestyle. Funky Bikes give you a sense of aesthetic pleasure and comfort during your journey. Bikes are offered with a helmet and an anti-theft padlock.
How to rent?
1. Come to Funky Mamaliga Hostel, located at 16 Kogalniceanu str., and pick the bike you prefer (please don’t forget to take your ID card with you).
2. Book your favorite bike by sending a message via Facebook. You will receive a confirmation within minutes.

May you be recalled that Velo Fun by Škoda is a race for beginners or those who have never been in a bike race. Thus, the length of the route is only 15 km. Velo Fun by Škoda is an event to come with family and friends.
The Velo Fun by Škoda cycling race will take place in two sectors of the capital, Centru and Riscani, and the cyclists will be accompanied by the police patrol.
The first 5,000 participants will get a branded t-shirt as a gift.
T-shirts will be issued from 8:00 to 10:45
